Ok, somehow my "find" window went below my task bar,so now I can't drag it back into view,relogging does'nt fix it,have'nt tried a reinstall, but settings are stored server side anyway correct?
This is getting really irritating as I have no find function till I find a fix lol.

Settings are stored client side. You can manually set the corner locations of the various windows I believe.
All else fails, try running at a higher resolution and drag the window towards the top, then readjust your resolution.

You can turn your toolbar of under View > Toolbar. That should let you see the hidden windows.

I believe thats stored in the settings.ini file which is in Docs and settings - your user name-App Data- Second Life And then another folder (sorry dont remeber which one and Im too darn lazy to look!

thanks all i managed to get it back into view just by clicking and dragging between the toolbar buttons randomly lol.
