Why does this happen?
It is very hard to change clothes, because half of the previous outfit
will not come off.
It is getting really frustrating to have two diff outfits on at the same time.

It gets even weirder.
I change clothes but they didn't change.
If I edit my appearance I can see the clothes, when I get back out of edit, I have the previous clothes on again.

I suggest you go to Preferences, Network, and set it to clear cache.

Then go to Advanced, Character, Character tests and select the test male or test female option.

Then exit SL, turn off your computer, router, modem, etc. for a few minutes, then turn them back on and start SL.

What kind of internet service do you have?

Wired or wireless network?

Do you have packet loss?

Is packet loss indicated by the bars in the upper right corner? The left one of the two?

I'd like to know about the packet loss too.
But today I am fine. I have DSL wired.
