Hello all, I've been having this problem with SL all day now every time i try too log into SL i keep getting this message:
Unable too connect too Second Life Despite our best efforts, something unexpected has gone wrong.
these are my specs:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Series Processor (2199 MHz) Memory: 2046 MB OS Version: Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 (Build 2600) Graphics Card Vendor: NVIDIA Corporation Graphics Card: GeForce 8400 GS/PCI/SSE2 OpenGL Version: 2.1.2
i have two PCs i have tried on the one mentioned above and it will not log in but yet when i try my old one i can get on straight away.
Has anyone seen this problem before, I've also filed a ticket as well.
Any help is greatly appriciated

Might be this issue, although it mainly seems to affect Vista users: http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-7069

I have a Vista machine. Ever since the new RC viewer, I am unable to connect with it. I feel penalized just because I have a Vista. Oh well. I'm still holding out hope that one day Vista will be supported.
I don't have the money to go out and buy the next "latest and greatest" that Windows will be coming out with. I'll just limp along in the regular viewer. it's not too bad, really. I guess there are enough people in the RC environment to test the viewer out.
My question is, though:
When it becomes the new viewer, Will I then not be able to even get on? Would it support only XP, etc.? I sure hope it doesn't shut me out. I'm having fun in here.
