Missing Mouse Cursor

Okay,

I loaded up Second Life this morning and was unable to use it because I cannot see my mouse cursor on-screen!

It's there because if I carefully move around the screen, I can see buttons lighting up as if the cursor was there, but I can't actually see the cursor...

In an attempt to fix the problem, I re-installed Second Life over the top of the old copy, but this didn't work, so I un-installed Second Life, restarted my computer, ran my system cleaning/registry fixing tools, restarted my computer and then re-installed the latest version of Second Life - only to have the same problem!

Any ideas as to why I can no longer see my cursor, and how I can restore it?

Post your computer specs. Now are you running SL in fullscreen. Do you not have a cursor in windows too?
