Problem with Script Help

While in game I can use and view the general help tips without any problem. However when I select Script Help nothing happens. No text window opens, no error message, nada. This is true wether I try to open it from the menu or from the Help button while in the Content>New Script window.

My copy of SL is not installed in the default directory. It's on my D: drive. I was wondering if the path used when calling the ScriptHelp files is literal or not? Is there a way to do any kind of verification maintenance on the Client files?

Create a shortcut on your desktop to
"D:\ [ your path to ] \SecondLife\lsl2_reference.htm"

If you play in non-windowed mode, you might want to fire up the above file before you log in -- then just alt-tab back and forth as needed

I play in windowed mode, and actually have a button on my office toolbar to the scripting help

I think I'll try installing to a non-default drive:\path and then see if scripting help works from within the game. Will report back here. (I actually don't like bringing up the script help from within the game -- every time I see those two cmd windows pop up, I think I'm crashing)
