Default Camera Reset Position Moved.

When you move your avatar in SL the "camera" resets to a position above and behind your avi. But in the last few days my camera has decided to reset to a position down near the floor. This means that furniture and floors and walls and things are constantly getting in the way of the view, and since it's so low you can't see very far.

Has anyone else ever had this problem?

I thought it must be some kind of viewer setting, but I can't find any way to reset your default camera position.

HOWEVER... I've now tried two different viewers, the SL main viewer (current version) and Imprudence and they both do the same thing. This implies that the default camera position might be a server setting? Which implies I need to put in a support request? Comments? Suggestions please.

Confirmation: It must be a server issue because it doesn't affect my alt, despite using the same viewer, settings, and hardware.

Update: I put in a support ticket about it, but I have a basic free account so I don't know if they'll even read it.

Update... Detaching everything fixed the problem. Looks like this issue is caused by a scripted HUD object called Nemit from a RP game called Necronom VI.

Make sure you are not wearing something that is doing that. Search "worn" and take off all objects, or try using a test avatar.

Try throwing away your settings.xml file that's in (for XP anyway) Documents&Settings\user\Application Data\SecondLife\account name.

Clear cache in case something is corrupted.
