As long as I am posting about problems with Fey (sorry honey, just kidding!), I know she's filed bug reports about this, but I thought I would post it here to see if anyone else was experiencing the same problem and/or anyone else has heard of the problem. Fey will log in and be in for a while, and then all of a sudden I will see her go off-line ("Fey Brightwillow is Offline"  yet I can see her standing in front of me, working on objects and such. So she can still walk, chat, move and edit objects and so on, but we can no longer IM or pass objects to each other. If I try to IM her or pass her an object, it is "held" until she "logs back in again". This unfortunately does not happen after a given amount of time. She can be on for hours before it happens. It never happens quickly, however. It takes at least an half an hour or so before it occurs. It does not appear to happen at the same interval each time it occurs is what I think I am trying to say.

Had the same problem. It hass to do with her router settings. She needs to open the ports SL needs to communicate with her computer. I picked up a note card that told the exact ports to open, I'll check when I'm in World to see if I still have it, or maybe one of the Lindens will be kind enough to post it here.

if she opens ports 12020-12050 and 13000-13050, that should work. if i recall correctly, those are the ranges specified by the SL "getting started" guide.
