Ok, when i log in: Game running smoothly, everything fine, sound fine.
After five minutes, the sound goes completely off, no music/footsteps/wind, anything.
Second life is far better with sound =) If someone could help me i'd really appreciate it.

My sound degrades after a few minutes too. I have posted here before and made bug reports. The answer to the bug report was to update my sound drivers, but they are updated so thats not really the answer.
Im sorry your having issues, I feel your pain. Thanks for posting your problem, hopefully others will speak up and maybe it will be addressed at some point.

I have no sound at all (also)......... it just happened very recently....... I have played Second Life for about 10 Months now...... and I never had a sound problem
I have send a bug report to Lindens today but I think they will either tell me to reinstall SL or to update my driver.... I already did both and nothing works...... I need help
btw I have Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy 2
