- llSetMusicURL needs accompanying permission setting revisions. It is set so that it will work only if the owner of the scripted object calling it is the owner of the land. Currently it is BROKE if the land is group owned. It needs to be revised so that you can check for multiple types of permissions, group, other users, group owned, etc. Consequently, there could be new fucntionality in who you grant access to change it.. but of course this really only benefits people who make jukeboxes like me

I found another VERY weird bug yesterday with llSetParcelMusicURL.
I have a jukebox which will change music streams when I click on it. But if i'm in animation, like on a pose ball, the touch will be registered as usual, but the llSetParcelMusicURL will fail !!!

From: someone Originally posted by Raphael Rutherford I have a jukebox which will change music streams when I click on it. But if i'm in animation, like on a pose ball, the touch will be registered as usual, but the llSetParcelMusicURL will fail !!! I too experienced this exact same problem yesterday, but failed to identify the reason why. I assumed it was because my script had screwed up, or a lag issue, but now you mention it, my av was animated at the time. I could see that the URL was getting changed on the land parcel, but that change wasn't reflecting in the streaming audio I could hear. After a bit of messing about, I discovered that you can force the change in URL to take place by going to the land parcel options screen, and unchecking then re-checking the enable local audio option. But you have to do this every time the URL changes while your avatar is animated. Very strange indeed.

Aha, I didn't actually note that the URL was changed. In that case this seems to be a remaining leg from teh old bug that was fixed with 1.5 (I think), where you had to leave the land and return to get the new stream.
I bug reported this to Linden several days ago, but still haven't got a reply. (As if that were new).
