A million notecards

I bought an object called an Evil Guy Hoverfriend 1.0, it was supposed to follow behind you and shoot lazers at people, when you wanted.

Right after I bought it I began to be bombarded with a thousand notecards, telling me how to use it.. and they keep on coming every few seconds. I've deleted the object, logged out, and back in.. restarted my PC. And I'm STILL getting them.

Any help? :(

never heard of this one:

make sure you dont have it attached
make sure you de-rezzed all the instances of it
make sure you deleted in from inv (doesnt really matter)

clear your cache (do a forum search for how to do it)

Okay. I did everything you said.. except for de-rezzing. What's that?

de-rezzing is deletion, where rezzing is creating an object.

Did you make more than one copy of that object? If so, you may want to make sure that you deleted them all.

Also -- try contacting the person who made the object, see if they can help you.

Yes - Contact a Linden in-game. Do a 'Find' on Lindens and talk to one that's online.

Also, if you don't want your email inbox flooded, there's an option somewhere in your preferences that you can use to turn off email preferences -- otherwise all messages like that get forwarded to your email.

If loging in the world is too much trouble you can try PMing a Linden on the forums here and asking them here about it.

Or email support@secondlife.com (i think thats the right one).

You shouldn't have to lose your current account if you don't want too. Hopefully you can have it fixed. :)
