Oh bugs, how I hate thee, let me count the ways.....

1) For whatever reason, now copied objects don't always move to their new typed-in coordinates.

2) Rotation is again sporadically behaving the same old way, i.e. you type in the coords and wind up at 89.1 or 180.1 etc...

3) Rather often on shift drag, you don't copy the object you targeted, but the object beneath it thus moving something you have rather painstakingly put in the perfect position.

4) Quite often on using ALT-Focus, you wind up getting a "jumpy camera" meaning that the camera position doesn't stay static to the new view.

5) Some objects are failing to rez their textures until you put the mouse cursor over them.

6) Random and unexplained log-offs

7) Sound, now suddenly since V 1.5, gets all "static-ey"

8) Suddenly get thrown into "mouselook" and can only resolve this thru re-logging.

Before anyone else comments, let me state that I have done a ground-up re-install of WinXP due to a faulty hard drive, have all current drivers, virus protection, firewall updates, etc. I am running 3 GIG of RAM on an NVidia GeForce4 128Meg card (new drivers) DX 9.0C yada yada blah blah. Yet since V1.5 these issues are rampant.

THis is not a rant, but meant to point out issues that I am sure other people are experiencing, please post your issues here as well.

Lindens, until these are resolved, I remain your unwitting guinea pig. (P.S. Love the game, hate the bugs!)

And again Jebus Linden for President!

1) For whatever reason, now copied objects don't always move to their new typed-in coordinates.

Yup - I'm experiencing this too since 1.5

2) Rotation is again sporadically behaving the same old way, i.e. you type in the coords and wind up at 89.1 or 180.1 etc...

I've always seen this problem since I joined SL in June. Though I have mitigated the "free rotation" problem by increasing my draw distance when building & also by moving closer to the object.

3) Rather often on shift drag, you don't copy the object you targeted, but the object beneath it thus moving something you have rather painstakingly put in the perfect position.

Yup - thought it was just me selecting the wrong thing, but it's happend too many times now for that & sometimes all shift drag does is move the object and not copy it at all.

4) Quite often on using ALT-Focus, you wind up getting a "jumpy camera" meaning that the camera position doesn't stay static to the new view.

I have not experienced this one.

5) Some objects are failing to rez their textures until you put the mouse cursor over them.

Yup - I do trees & see this a lot. Wonder if it has something to do with how I save the texture. Usually it's always 256x256 or 512x512, alpha, tga, 32bit. Is there a better recommended way?

6) Random and unexplained log-offs

Yup - LOTS of them since 1.5, also complete and total client lock ups that require a client reboot.

7) Sound, now suddenly since V 1.5, gets all "static-ey"

I have not experienced this.

8) Suddenly get thrown into "mouselook" and can only resolve this thru re-logging.

I haven't experienced this, but my hubby has.

9) Add to this list items that rez and then shoot into another sim without ever being touched and items that shoot into another sim when all you do is go into edit mode.

This is not a rant either - SL is a wonderfully interesting world, but on occasion a little frustrating.
