for days now SL is been seriously messed up. My question is.... and I already know the answer. Do paying SL residents get a pro-rated discount? I for one pay for SL and can't stand the fact that I cant do ANYTHING in SL. I can't TP, rez or change clothing and god forbid I try to cross borders of the sims I own.... CRASH CITY SWEETHEART!

To the SL admins (not that you're reading this) I know you're dealing with a ton. This is not a rip on you but please..... get it fixed....

Thanks.

Nope.

This is nothing. Things have been far worse for far longer. They didn't pay then and they're not gonna pay now.

No, you are not going to get a pro-rated bill for loss of use of SL. Just the same sum that you pay monthly plus tier.

The only pro-rata you get is to pay your teir and account fees in full and on time, or else lol.

Read the disclaimer, which is internationally accepted by all ISP's. No one will refund you should normal service be interupted, simply because they can never fully know who is to blame, the internet is dynamic and works at the speed of light. Your only possible recourse would be maybe to a website host company that states 100% uptime. Even then they will claim that its your end. I know, been there, when I provided proof that clients from all over the world could not gain access to our content for 48 hours, they still insisted it was the rest of the world, never them.

LOL..... I KNOW they wont.... just expressing my feelings on the fact that out of all the paid games I have ever played.... SL seems to be the MOST problematic of all. A love hate relationship I guess. Great concept and game...... when it works.... which is rare.

In regards to it being a problem on my end.... um..... no.... not me.... It's SL..... proof?...... my friends from around the globe having the same exact problems....... oh and um.... yeah..... the Grid status they (the Lindens) put out admitting it *wink wink* LOL

Thanks for letting me vent gang :-)

Now - are you the only unlucky one - or am I the one which is extreme lucky?

My crashes are very few and I can teleport and cross sim's in usual no time, no wrong behavior.... - and I move around very often.

But all I have is a free account and some 20000 items - I don't own land and I don't pay tier.
