SL doesnt work after installing Windows XP SP2 |

It pops up a small dialog with the green SL icon, called nVidia OpenGL driver.
It says "Driver component sizes mis-match. Retry to keep going. Cancel to exit." But no matter what I do, I can't click any of those buttons. the window seems to be permanently inactive (grey titlebar) though I CAN move it around the screen. I'm gonna try to reinstall SL, and then if that doesn't work I'll try reinstalling my drivers...  _____________________

Well, reinstalling SL didnt help. I'm downloading the nvidia drivers...

I've run XP SP2 RC2 for awhile now with no problems running SL with the latest Nvidia drivers. I haven't tried the official XP SP2 release, however.

How did you get Official Windows XP SP2? According to the Microsoft website, its not even out yet.

Get the network install directly from Microsoft

It's the RTM version. Release To Manufacturers. The final version for us lusers may or may not include additional fixes. It will also be a lot leaner since it will only DL the packages we actually need to update.

I downloaded and installed the network version about an hour after it was released on the 10th. SL's behavior has not changed for me, Eggy.
Did re-installing the drivers help? |
