Since a few days all over a sudden voice does not work anymore. As long as I am not logged in to SL the slider under preferences shows that it would work. TInput level turning green - depending on how loud I speak. But as soon as I logg into SL there is no more voice possible. Input level does not even show any sliders anymore. Testet on different sound enabled sims. Portforwarding is enabled with all the ports suggestet on the SL SupportPortal.
I started the debug console and got the following message: LLVoiceClient:loginResponse:Acount.Login response failure (408 ) Request timeout.

Did you double check http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Voice_FAQ#Can_I_use_voice_from_behind_a_firewall.3F? If you're getting a timeout error on the Login, it means it's not reaching the server, so (not to be obvious) something is blocking it. I've had an ip provider change things on me with out me knowing before.

Greetings Shamayjna if your sound is working before you log in (just a local check) then its not your computer more than likely (unless your running the Linux client). If your just having a time out issue where it cant get to the voice server (as you indicated), then it is a connection problem. The port is either being blocked by your firewall on your computer, or your router, or your ISP. The exact answer of how to fix it can't be given to you, as we don't know your set up and what hardware you have.
