Hey, i'm new to this, and at the beginning of making the account, I chose the starter avi, but ended up bald and every time I try to put new hair/outfit on, it says I can't cause it's pending or something.
Confusing much?

"Pending attachment" I have gotten this message when I'm in a sim that is really laggy, and I have to wait a really LONG time for the item I put on to rez (resolve on screen).

If it still doesn't show up, I would recommend using the search feature to teleport somewhere else (NCI/New Citizens Inc is good for newly born avatars), then try again to change clothes and hair.

Sometimes these things happen when your cache needs clearing, go into edit at the top of your screen, then in preferences at the bottom of the list and look in the network tab. In there is the option to clear cache. This will be cleared when you next log into sl. You should do this every couple weeks or so, depending on what you do in SL. Seems SL is still remembering something that you tried to attach a while ago and is still trying to attach it. Happens alot in laggy sims if you try n change hair or shoes and the attachement didnt complete before you changed into something else.
If it still doesnt work, make sure you are somewhere private when you do this or you will lose your skirt or something lol. See the release keys button at the bottom of the screen, it'll detach pretty much everything that is attached to you, including jewelry, shoes, skirt attachements, hair, huds, AO's allsorts.
You could also see what you have attached there by typing "worn" in your inventory, thatll bring up everything that is currently being worn by your ave now and where it is attached.

I suggest clearing your cache though, works for alot of things, including items which you thought were lost, turn up. and clothing that didn't appear worn properly, start working correctly.
hope that helps.
