With the latest ... "fix"... how dragging and dropping a texture now passes through transparent objects...

How in the hell do we drag and drop a texture on a transparent object, like when we only want one side to have a texture?!?!?!

Edit the object in question (right-click->Edit) press the "More>>" button on the edit menu, select the "Texture" tab and click on the texture box.

Erm, mal, that wont do any good if he doesnt use the Select Texture feature to indicate which face(s) of the prim he wants to texture.

Select "Show Transparent objects" in View menu. You can drag&drop again now...

Or use the 'select texture' checkmark on edit pane, select texture and drop on texture drop-box.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I was working with masks last night, and going crazy doing a drag and drop to the surface. It was funny, I could drag and drop the texture to any object except the one that was transparent.

:)
