As the title says. I haven't played SL in a very long time, I decided to give it a shot and I remembered my old account name and that it had a lot of items bought on it from real money, so not really looking to start over.
However the email I used for it I haven't logged into for about a year and now doesn't exist anymore, which means I can't retrieve my password. This is a total pain and I'm not sure what to do about it. Any help would be very much appreciated  Btw sorry if this is the wrong forum for this question. |

The only thing I can think of is to try and remember the password, or somehow get that email address back.
I'm not sure if you can file some kind of ticket with proof its yours to get LL to reset the password. Good Luck. _____________________

There might be, I'm just not aware of one. I would guess if there is you might have to jump through hoops to prove you are the owner of the account.
Just did a little looking, seems you can call them, verify your id and get things reset. "My Account Are you having a little trouble with your password or security question? We can get this straightened out by talking to you. Please call us: (866) 476-9763." _____________________

I did have to know what the old email accounts were (even though i had no access to them), and the answer to the secret question i had originally set for them.

Yeah luckily I was smart enough to write my old emails down on a word doc back then, but not smart enough to write my SL accounts down -.- |
