Really dumb newbie question. I have Logitech controller and ControllerMate. I can do most of what I want with it, but I haven't got a clue how to aim in mouselook. I'm sure 9 out of 10 teens know this but I don't know any teens. I have read everything I can find and it is way over my head.

The reason you can't find much on gamepads and SL is that most people who come to SL and stay are not into the "game part"...........especially here in these forums. The "game" part of SL is actually a very small portion of what SL is all about. The gaming enthusiasts usually find that out pretty quickly and go else where for their intertainment.
By the way..........I haven't a clue on how to help you.

Ask at some of the gaming sims...........someone there has undoubtedly at least tried a gamepad in SL.

You could have sent it to me............I have a 4 year old neice that would love it.  She has a Wii but she'd find a use for it if was for an XBox........like for her Barbie to use while she wins the game. Sorry I couldn't help. |
