why can't I log in

I have been trying for several hrs today to log in (basic account user)
I found out I am ghosted online....

Hi Kaylyn,

The sim you were last in still has your avatar there logged in standing around or floating someplace. Filing a ticket is the only way to fix this unless the sim is reset before hand by the owner (if it is a private estate).

ty Brianna...I guess I am at the mercy of LL to fix it - I wonder if it is at Raven Glades which is where I live..I know the owner...can she do anything?

If Raven Glades is a private estate then the owner is the proper person to contact. You're likely ghosted so the fix is a sim restart.........the owner of the estate can do that for you. But, if you are on Mainland the LL is the people to contact for a restart.

I'm pretty sure you will be on estate land if you think you're ghosted at your home......so quick email or IM to the owner would be the first thing to do. To do the IM though you need to log in......use an alt. If you don't have one then now is a good time to create one. Alts are handy for situations like this.

Can one be ghosted even though their avatar is not visible? (I've seen visible avs that were really not online) I have a friend who is having this problem RIGHT NOW...

They tried for hours and when they finally got in, they were totally frozen. So they re-logged....and still have not returned :((((((((( *^&%^$^%&*^(*&^*( SL!
