Hi, I was hanging around in SL yesterday when my Internet connection dropped. First time that has happened for a while, but hey ho. Anyway, figured I'd go to bed and check in the morninng. Well my connection is back - I can now browse the Internet and download files no problem. However, I'm having problems connecting to SL. I can connect to the region that I was last in, but nothing seems to load. I get a message saying that clothes are downloading and bla bla bla, but on screen I see nothing at all apart from inventory and mini map. If I wait 2 minutes or try teleporting I get logged out of SL with a message saying "You have been logged out of SL: This region may be experiencing trouble. Please check your connection to the Internet....". My Internet connection is now fine. Has anyone else experienced this problem, or have any suggestions that I could try? Thanks

Problem resolved by changing preference for start location from 'last' to 'home'.

I am having same exact problem... internet went out and I got my connection back but cannot get on Second Life... I tried changing from last location to home but I still cannot get on. I get a message saying that I've been disconnected from the region I was in and SL shuts down. When I try connecting again it tells me there may be something wrong with my connection but I know there isn't because I'm online... anyone might know what's up?

I have the same exact problem. I've started new accounts five times in three days, and all of them have failed. Now I have exceeded the number of accounts I can have, and I can't play at all! It must be a problem on the Linden side.
