Wonder if thisis just me or not?
when I press the button on my SpaceNavigator (so I can swoop around things when building stuff) I see the general lighting in most area flickering.
Always done this, thru various SL builds (now using the current BETA build of SL)
It's not Terrible, but it would be nice if I could stop it.
Does not seem to notice out in the open so much, but more visable when you have local lights, and the prims that are lit up by the loacl lights, appear to flicker in brightness a bit.

This is a known problem that's been happening for a while. Try detaching any HUDS you are wearing that will probably fix it for the time being. There is a JIRA that covers this if you'd like to vote: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-5791

Rather than start up another thread:
3D SpaceNavigator.
What I find annoying is that you press the button and fly around items which is great.
However, when you RIGHT CLICK EDIT onto an item (so you can reposition/resize/retexture it) the speed you fly around slows down and I find myself pulling the whole SpaceNavigator around the desktop as it's like pusing thry treackle.
I've looked at the "Joystick setup" and fiddled with a few things, but I can't seem to find a way of adjucting it's, what you might call "Camera free roaming speed"
Anyone else find htis annoying, or know a way around it?

I just bought a SpaceNavigator, which I am getting ready to send back.
Fairly new iMac. Latest SN driver. Joystick preferences set to SN default. System preferences set to SN default. No AOs worn. Only Avi movement selected. (Not terribly interested in camera at this point.)
I get totally messed up movement. Wrong directions. Can't stop moving. Can't use menus because they act crazy. You name it. So, laugh at me if you want, I am not putting my Avi through that cr*p.
