Hey there.. the apple/command keys bring up the rotation circles when editing. for instance, when I create a prim, and then hold down the apple/command key, the rotation xyz circles appear, but when you click the left mouse button, I get the right-click menu. I just realized I should (have read the create menu instructions and) use control and shift in combination to access the stretch, rotate and position tools... I think the command/apple key should not bring up the rotation circles at all. It's a little confusing.

How would you rate the overall experience of SL and what Mac & processor are your running?

i also feel that the apple key should not bring up this menu. in the macOS, the systemwide command to bring up "right-click" events is the control button, so thus should be carried over to SL. It took me forever to get used to this, and im sure that other mac users will agree that it should be changed.
otherwise amazing work! you guys constantly impress me with the mac port of this incredible piece of software ^_^

From: someone Originally posted by Merwan Marker How would you rate the overall experience of SL and what Mac & processor are your running? overall, I'm very impressed. We started up a company in 1998 called PuppetTime, which was a scriptable 3d storytelling technology. We were acquired by Cycore, AB in 1999, and laid off in 2000. I haven't done much of any 3d anything since then, and I'm blown away by the world in SL. I think 800 Mhz g4 powerbook is maybe a little too slow for most people. if I turn everything down or off (please please can I turn off the swaying trees everywhere, ugh) then I get maybe, 3-4 fps in full screen. (can I please please please do everything in mouselook mode?? SO much faster in mouselook mode!) I think it's doable, but.. requires a lot of patience, which I have.
