I have problem taking a movie on one of my PCs. On this PC, by selecting "Start/Stop Movie to Disk" opens a Save As window. After that nothing happens. The movie file is not created and no movie file options.
I have the latest Quicktime installed. I have deleted cookies and cache, removed and reinstalled Second Life program.
Any suggestions? This only happens on one of the PCs running XP Pro.

It seems an intermitent issue with the function of the client, which changes each update. I suggest you either use Fraps or HyperCam to grab video footage, its smarter and more reliable.

same problem

Kermit, I had same issue. What's annoying is that it worked up until last week.
I'm on a PC using XP and nothing changed that I know of. Other older machines still seem to work and I've searched for hours to try to solve it. Same current version of SL 1.19.0 (5) Feb 28 2008
If anyone has something like a checklist of settings to fix this function please post.
