I have a video card that isnt making new drivers anymore, a Voodoo 5 5500 AGP from 3dfx.

Second Life doesn't run on my computer. The first time it crashed it said it was because I had it set to 16 bit color, so I reset to 'True color' and had the same crash without the message about 16 bit color being the culprit.

The crash was very strange: it changed all my colors to something horribly clashing. The first time it went to yellowy orange, the second it went to contrasting reds and blues. (I use the 'plum' window color setting so that's what it should have been). I had to reboot to go back to normal colors. (though changing back to 16 bit color did fix it also).

Second life runs fine on my husband's computer with Nvidia graphics card.

I wish it ran on my computer though!
