I have stopped using SL viewer and Im using OnRez viewer as my video card wont handle SL viewer and I dont seem to be the only person that has this problem.
I ask Linden labs to becareful of future updates as in these times of the money crunch a lot of ppl will not be able to afford updated computers and they will probally loose more and more ppl as time goes by for this reason.

I have the exact same issue with mine. I have a nVidia Quadro FX570M. One day it worked without a hitch, the next SL says that my drivers are out of date or that my video card isn't compatible. OnRez has the same error.
I've re-installed SL and my drivers with no success.
