Urgent Please - Can I create a new group and be the only member?

Is there any problem if you go to create a group and you are the only member?

I thought I read somewhere that a group had to have a number of active members to keep the group alive, or did I misunderstand that?

A group needs two members. You can use an alt for one.

I thought they updated that to allow groups of one...guess I'm wrong.

You mean a second Avatar you create (never having done this)

Would I also assume you would need to log in under your 2nd Avatars account every so often?

And what happend if you have land/objects, set it/them to your group and then that group gets deleted thru lack of use?

As long as two members are in the group the group will not be deleted. One member can never log in again (just as long as that member does cancell the account completely) and the group will remain. Lack of use will not get your group deleted...........lack of, at least, 2 members will though.

Your objects and land set or deeded to the gourp will be returned to the owner(s) of the group and all members if the land it sold, deactivated or deleted. Needless to say care needs to be taken in deeding objects and land to groups.......and designated "owner" can sell the land and all objects and "effectively" take what is really yours. If your other "owner(s)" are alts of yours that will not be a problem.

Do I just go to Lindens SL intro page and create a whole new account?

Or is there a simpler way, once you are up and running with your main account?

Just go make a new account just like you did for the one you have now

You'll even have to do orientation again.

It was changed from three down to two. The idea of a group being one avatar is comical.

I'm sure some people want a group just so they can have their own titles.

If that's true they should just wear a titler.
