Black screen when trying to log in

I havent been able to log in for the past few days. When I try to I get a black screen with a white mouse pointer. I cant go back to windows - no options at all. All I can do is Ctrl Alt Del and if that doesnt help - the power button. I have tried to contact [email]support@seconlife.com[/email] a couple of times but I havent heard a word :rolleyes:

Any sugestion?

Reboot. Update your drivers. Wait till after the weekend for a response.

It's probably your colour settings. Make sure your colour depth is set to 32-bit.

Just after posting that first one I retried and for some reason SL worked. I cannot remember if I did anything at all.

Well anyways - this happened again today, I started SL by mistake as I had another game open and they dont go well together ;) and when I was going to start SL again later bam - all black. Tried a few things - didnt work, decided to go look for this post in case any of you gurus had been here :)
Thanks Catherine - for some reason colors were at 16 instead of 32 bit - fixed it and I am now back in SL :D

Pst waiting for DAYS for the Lindens to answer isnt my thingy lol
