Crash on start up

vista home premium x64bit
amd phenom 9850
ati vistion tek 3870x2
msik9a2platuim 790fx
(amd spider platform)

when im on the standered viewer i can get to the log on page no problem and log in with out a problem but when i go to certian islands i crash imidatly. i was told its becuase my quicktime is out of date or needs to be repaired so i patch quicktime and itunes up the same problems acures. what can i do to fix this sorry about my spelling and my lack of details

Sometimes when you crash a texture in your cache is left in a damaged state, and when you go someplace that has that texture the viewer crashes. If this is the problem you're having clearing cache will fix it.

i have the 8.9 driver and i cleared my cache that didnt work. i also downloaded the onrez viewer to give that a try and still didnt work
