I'm hoping this will just "Sort itself out"

Just for a bit of housekeeping I thought I'd select to clear the disk cache on the:

Preferences / Network tab.

Which is currently set to 500mb.

SL said it would do so on next log-in.

It did it, but now I have a weird thing happening.

When I see some things "in world" for the very 1st time, just before they REZ, they show up as a default picture.

100's and 100's of them all over the place.

It's like some default (not rezzed yet) texture had been replaced by a screenshot of inside a building.

Here is a good example:

and here:

and a good close up here:

They only show for a second or so and I had to be quick to capture these screen grabs before the correct textures appeared.

Is this the kind of thing that can happen after clearing your HDD cache?

Should I clear the cache again and see if it solves it, or will it just go away as the cache fills?

Odd, as I never saw this ever before.

its on odd bug that happens to me from time to time as well, I get the Quicktime loading picture (animated as well) on everything, after a re log it went away, I wonder if it had something to do with what I was looking at at log off after the clear cashe or just an odd glitch...

its pretty funny to log into a very populated place and see everyone as Quicktime :D
