I get disconnected every time i try to buy something in sl, when i try changing clothes, skin, hair....
Sometimes it works ok, but sometimes its just getting crazy.
It hasnt done that on my old pc (which was way weaker than this one), and i also tryed SL with my connection on a different PC and it works properly.
I am using version Second Life 1.20.17 (98669).
And this is what my PC configuration looks like:
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU
E7300 @ 2.66GHz
1.57 Ghz, 2.00 GB of RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT (driver version 6.14.11.6921)
I have ADSL connection 768 Kbps
Can somebody tell me whats the problem.

I had a similar issue. I logged in fine but when I tried to build or edit my connection went down. Had me stumped but it was an issue with my IT providor.... went away in an hour (but still frustrated the hell out of me)

Can somebody tell me whats the problem. If you lease your DSL modem from the telco, get them to take it back and give you one that doesn't suck. If you bought your DSL modem, oops! |
