ATI texture banding people... possible solution?

DO the following in preferences:

AGP acceleration: off

Video Card Memory size: 64 MB

RAM texture cache: less than 512 MB

So far (knock on wood), no texture banding since I changed my ram texture cache a couple days ago.

If that still does it, lower your video card memory size to 16 MB. Avatars look like crap, but you're less likely to get texture banding.

I'm running on similar settings (not sure if it's identical) and I think I did see it once, but over the last week or so it's been almost nonexistant.
