Please list your computer specs. The graphics problems you are having aren't Second Life - they are to do with your hardware, but may be fixed by changing some settings.
Possible: Is your graphics card overheating? Possible: If you have an ATI card try disabling VBO. (Edit menu, Preferences, Graphics, click Hardware Options and untick Enable VBO.) _____________________

It could also be a graphic card in the process of dying. My last nVidia did this to me shortly before it croaked.

ATI 4650HD 1Gig men.
and I do not think its my computer. this happen when Turn arroundt. this happen Months past also.. on my other computer And the card was 10x Stronger then one I have now. GDDR4 2600xt Graphic card it was . I have now a 440+ cpu and 2 Gig men and Winxp. EAH4650 Asus 1gig men on the card. Edit : I play World of warcraft, I build stuff on macromedia Flash Photoshop cs ect... wihtout any trouble..... plz...dont attact my computer. The Line you see happen when Turn arroundt close to some objects..and alot off things must load....in sec life. I think this is the problem... and maybe Some settings I must do on the seclife prog self I dont know. |

The triangular spikey things are produced by having VBO turned on on many ATI cards, so you should try the advice given above:
" try disabling VBO. (Edit menu, Preferences, Graphics, click Hardware Options and untick Enable VBO" Lately I've had that problem even worse than is shown in your picture, and disabling VBO fixed the problem. Other than the triangular spikey things, is there something else that's bothering you about your display? == edit - not fast enough, oh well. ====== _____________________

plz...dont attact my computer. No one is attacking your computer. Because of the variation in computer components it's possible to have a very robust machine that does not run Second Life well until some settings are changed. Remember that the first answers posted were given without any spec information. Second Life is created by us, so the content is dynamic and unoptimised - it streams by necessity, unlike other 3d worlds which are built by the companies and are static and optimised (and downloaded onto your harddrive beforehand). Comparison is therefore of little value. _____________________

With the latest ATI drivers and the latest standard SL viewer and Emerald viewer the ATI VBO issues seems to be resolved for me. Might try updating to the latest ATI drivers. ATI Catalyst 9.9.

Thnx all for the replay , but I do not stay longer on this thing. Reason: it laag....like...Hel...... I saw message, and I say Accept..and seems like some controle my char. Indeed, you sound as though you have never explored beyond one laggy spawning point. If that's the case you've never actually seen Second Life.
