hi i just registered and downloaded secondlife but i cant login somehow.
it says:

Unable to connect to SecondLife
DNS could not resolve the host name



can someone help please :(

It really should be stickied since there is no way anyone can offer any useful information with such vague discriptions as "Unable to login".

Only thing I can suggest until some more information is given is:

Check your firewall.

having the same issue here, just turned on my computer this morning and getting this error. Of course I know the message is complete nonsense when I can access the website jsut fine, so any suggestions? things were running fine last night..

i had to do this:

1) Open your command prompt (Start menu -> Accessoires -> Command Prompt)
2) Type 'ipconfig /flushdns' (without the quotes)
3) Press enter
