Ok, I tried to log in to SL but get a 'Login Failed,' then I'm told I can't log in for a few minutes, I try to log in then and get the same message. My friends see my avatar standing motionless inworld. It's as if I never logged out completely. Live chat was clueless. I filled out a ticket.
Has anyone here experienced this phenomenon? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I'm flummoxed.

Yeah it has been happening to us too. New server software maybe, but it is getting aggravating. My company has 4 avatars of which one can always get one and the other can't, or gets logged. It's not our cable system, it NOT CACHES, it's something that is being done server side, and to many. I think it's time to find a new place, just not worth it any more.

get someone to send your stuck inworld a pm. If it can not be delivered it sometimes causes the av to be logged out

Another suggestion is to edit your preferences and change your login location.

Its called a stuck presence,if you can get the sim owner to restart the sim that will free you otherwise put ticket in and LL will free you.
I had it happen a couple of times
