Ctrl Shift 3 shows the textures being loaded and is a good indication of how fast things are running.

On top of that info panel are two bars, sometimes green, sometimes amber and occasionally red.

What are they are what do they mean?

Its the usage of your grahic memory.

When it becomes red, the client stops to load te highest resolution of textures
