Hold down the Alt key and you get your mouse cursor back and can interact with objects and any GUI element that is visible.

I've heard this problem can be caused by having a script on you which watches your controls. Try removing your attachments or "Release Controls" and see if it works.

To this point though, often holding down alt in mouselook is not enough. For example, if you have a gun armed, the alt thing does not work...you just shoot the gun.

It would be very nice to have an "activate" option in addition to ALT (like CTL or something) so that you could bypass firing your gun and not have to drop out of mouselook to pick up a something a monster drops or something you found on the run.
