I don't know about anyone else, but ever since the last 2 or 3 rolling restarts, I have had nothing but problems. Very low FPS, constant lag, slow rezzing, and (yawning now) takes an hour to load inventory.... What the heck is going on here? I was running SL very well until all this stuff happened. If it is not broke, do not fix it, I wonder if anyone at LL has ever heard that, they better fix the stuff thats going on......

They did emergency rollouts of fixes to problems that allowed those who knew about them to crash sims on purpose, in some cases with loss of content. What do you expect them to do?
I've had mediocre performance for over 6 years. You have to get used to it.

Also very rarely are the problems you are discribing on LL's end. Not much anyone can do to help without some sort of informaion. But, I'm not sure you want help........just a little venting is what it seems to me. That won't likely fix it for you but it may make you feel better.  |

I was kind of venting, but the problems/issues I am having never occured until the bad restart, and I was hoping the rollback would solve them, but I havent seen any better results.

I restarted my sim since LL did, because I thought it was my sim that was lagging so bad..lol..guess not.

From: Prissy Jinx I was kind of venting, but the problems/issues I am having never occured until the bad restart, and I was hoping the rollback would solve them, but I havent seen any better results. i wouldn't worry too much i've heard of all sorts of people inc myself that have noticed definite problems with sl since the restart few weeks back i used to be able to use sl before the restart with no problems except the usual lag and odd ghosting now if i'm not freezing a lot i'm getting logged out faster than i logged in so little point to go inworld now, i'm pretty sure it's an SL problem i've changed nothing in my system except upgrade graphics drivers after the restarts when problems occurred |
