I cant log into sl and they are giving me this: Waiting for region handshake...then they disconnect me...is there anyone out there that knows what is that problem please?

I had that happen to me for a while. For me it was my dodgy internet connection. I always got as far as that and then crashed out.

It's waiting for the simulator to acknowledge the very first packet you sent it. If Login gave you the address of a simulator that moved to another host or isn't up anymore, this is actually the first indication you would get, so I would try choosing another region as my start location first

It means your computer can talk to SL's login servers, but not the sim server. I believe it can happen if you're going through a firewall that's been configured to block SL.

Thank you I am getting the same problem ive not been able to sign in for weeks ive lost my land and im so frustrated... nothing has changed so i dont know y this has happened.. ive cleared cache uninstalled a few times and submitted a ticket but nothing seems to work  .. i cant even get the background picture to load on my SL viewer |
