Ok, this is a bit embarassing and frustrating but I can`t wear clothes, no matter what I wear, I only see the attachments and my skin, the people arround me as well, I`ve tried clearing the cache, switching computers, rebake, editing the appearance. I just can`t wear anything, normal clothes like shirts, pants, skirts, underwear, nothing, still I see my hair and skirt attached.

Please, I really need help with this! Are the lindens trying a bad joke with me or what ?

Hi Anette, welcome to the forums! Probably something fairly basic has gone wrong with your avatar or skin. If that's it, it's usually best to start over with a new avatar body, which, fortunately, is very easy.

Go somewhere private and take off everything you're wearing (type "worn" into inventory search to be sure), or as much as SL will let you do. Now be sure that you know the names of your skin, shape and eyes, because you're going to have to put them on again afterwards.

Now, pull down your client menu (if you don't see a "Client" pulldown on your top toolbar, then press ctrl-alt-shift-D and then you should).

Choose:
Client > Character > Character Tests > Test male (or female)

Now log out, and log back in.

Put your skin, shape, eyes, and clothing back on! If that doesn't work, then try using a different skin ... yours may have gotten corrupted.
