Ok, I just have one issure that I would LOVE to see addressed, but I doubt it ever will, so i'm sure i'm SOL but I wasnt o express it anyway.

I know that you can't make a prim less than 0.010 or something like that, whatever the smallest size is. Anyway, That isn't working for me. I have objects that have small bits and pieces and I can't make the object smaller. So i'm stuck with an object that should be the size of my chest being the size of my body.

Some of these objectsjust needs those parts to be that size, and it's gonna make these products nearly useless after a good 7 hours of modeling something.

I create some things that are very detailed and i'm used to 3D programs not having these kinds of limits. I guess that's why i'm frustrated.

Someone asked me, "if the prim is that small, you couldn't see it amyway if it was smaller?" but that's not the case sometimes. There are vital parts that are just small, in one axis plane of the object or another.

I've tried simplifying, but ther is just something I can't get rid of.

had to rant.

The answer to your problem: Creative use of textures. :) Prims that *must* be that small fall into the category of replacable by a decent texture.

I can use texturing all I want, doesn't fix my problem. the flat texture effect doesn't work either. i'll figure something out. Though I guess there is a workaroudn for the minimunm size for things like jewelery and stuff. If i learn how that works, i'll see how I can apply it to my problem.

Start small. Linked groups have a certain size that they wont shrink passed. If you start very small you should be able to shrink even smaller.

I think what Ama is saying is that if you just have a prim as a jewel in a bracelet, something like that, you could go into Paint, Photoshop or GIMP, and create a texture containing all the jewels as a single texture.

Now, create a single torus-type object in-world and apply that texture to it.

You can see examples by looking around other people's houses and stuff.
