ok maybe not, i thought my game not running was due to the updating? but i still can not log on, this is after i changed the SL skin to sliver or w/e it has, and now when i run the game, it just has a black screen and crashes..?...

latest version of secondlife, iv checked like 3 times just to make sure lol (1.21.6.99587)

iv tryed driver updates, and reinstaling, and no dice

Uninstall SL before reinstalling it.

SL keeps files in C:\Documents and Settings\[your username]\Application Data\Secondlife\

Try deleting them, too. Your chat logs are stored in your user folder in there, so copy any of them you want to keep before deleting that folder.

That'll give you a completely clean install.

Can't del. the following files from the SL folder alut.dll msvcr71.dll ortp.dll SLVoice vivoxsdk.dll wrap_oal.dll.. Or the Second life folder.. >_< and either i cant find or vista dose not have the c/ documents and settings

Oh, Vista, my bad. It's not in exactly the same place as XP. I'm not sure exactly where Vista puts the settings, someone with a Vista system is going to have to help you with that.

The "Application Settings" folder may be hidden, so you'll have to tell Windows to show hidden files & folders, too.

Those files may just be in use, and turning your computer off and back on may free them up and let you delete them.

Ok well that was WAY easier then i thought... i just downloaded one of the different viewers.. and im up and going no prob.. Thanks for trying tho guys!
