Comp Stats: AMD Turion 64 Moblie Technology MK-36 2.0 GHz 1.00GB of Ram ATI Radeon Xpress 1100 HyperMemory 256MB I use a DSL connection
Although I experience lags and crashes like everyone else (However I tend to crash more often, sometimes while I am changing clothing on sl), there's also times I have to log out because the words of the client become blank or turn into lines. I never had these kinds of issues until recent, I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling SL, scanning for viruses/ad-ware, and making sure my graphics were up to date; nothing works. I hope someone can give me some insight on how to fix this issue, it would be greatly appreciated.
PS-Does any know how to stop the SL logger from popping up when I start up SL? Thanks

Several Users, myself included are having issues. Most seem to have the common thread of AMD processors (which I love) and ATI Cards.

Anyone have a clue what is causing this? It still occurs.

Looks like a fault in graphic memory. I had the same effect in another application.

PS-Does any know how to stop the SL logger from popping up when I start up SL? Thanks Your biggest problem is your own system. You are using a mobile CPU which is a cut down version of the full chip, combined with a Light Weight Graphic Chip which only has a small memory and uses 'HyperMemory' which is a way of sharing your very much slower system ram. I'm not sure what 2.0ghz 1.00GB ram means. I do not know of any ram on the market that runs at 2ghz speed, if it is 2mhz then that is painfully slow by todays standards. Judging by the picture, this could be memory corruption, or even a exploit that has corrupted your icon cache. Completely uninstall SL, making sure you delete everything including the cache folders, then carryout a full virus scan, and registry cleaner, then reinstall SL.

Someone else a while back was seeing random green dots all over the place. Turned out her card was getting too hot. Of course, that was back in July or something, but I think that once she opened up her case and pointed a household or mini desktop fan at it, her problems went away. Just a suggestion.

Mars, I am having the same problem, as are others. A common factor seems to be AMD and ATI components. I have cleared cache, uninstalled, deleated registry files, and still can't get past the crash logger... From: AWM Mars Your biggest problem is your own system.
