my first post so please be gentle with me im still a noob i have a few things that are doing my head in at moment some i have sorted (i think) and some not firstly i have 2 pieces of 'ghost' prims in the house i rent but searching has revealed a few answers for that anyway secondly i have a wurlitzer + freeview tv that both work fine no problem and others group wise can see/hear them my problem is that when they are group owned/deeded ? i'm not sure which but without it no one else can hear/see the media - but with the permissions set to group ownership i have no permission to delete or edit to even move them i am a tenant (group) as the house is rented is there anyway to reverse the group/deed of an item so i can move it ? sorry as typical noob i went straight into it balls blazing as you do

Enable Share With Group (under, or above the Deed To Group option). This allows ANYONE in the group to move/delete the object -- also, if permissions allow, ANYONE in the group can copy/take/edit the object. So use it with caution.
You cannot undo the Deed to Group, nor change the group it's assigned to. Once deeded it remains deeded. You should be able to delete it though. Make sure your active group is the same as the land (and you have group permission to remove objects -- which as a renter you probably have).
On a side note: deeding can hose your work in progress -- never deed (unless you have back-ups) until you're absolutely ready to (potentially) "abandon" the object. Once deeded it's quite possible that you might not be able to edit it (permission dependant).

p.s. This topic really ought be be under the Q&A forum, this is the technical forum (eg: hardware issues, "SL ate my cat", etc).

learnt my lesson reference group access i need to simply tick the option NOT click DEED - oops i have renter status that allows most stuff to edit/move/create in house - but its locked me out of any deeded objects no problem though ill ask the landowner who is obviously top group access to delete it - guys pretty good and really helpful and its only a free ornament the expensive jukebox can stay where it is

I believe you can sell the item, though. All proceeds go to the group, so you'd want to set the item for sale for L$0 and then quick buy it as yourself. Be sure to do this all in the same setting, as if you set it for sale for L$0 and then walk away, you might come back to find that someone has wandered in and bought it for themself!

as for the ghost prims that dont show up in transparent, about land, or with a scripted object finder, use the beacons (CTRL+N) to find them, mark them with another object, send a support ticket indicating the location of the stuck ghost prims with the objects marking their location and request LL to restart the sim to get them removed.
