i think this is a really common bug because many other people have said they have it too..
almost every time i try to fly somewhere i end up getting stuck and continue flying up and up. i can turn around and go forward, but i can't stop going up, almost as if the Fly button is stuck.
i have to exit second life and reload pretty much every time i try to fly somewhere because of this problem. it's been happening ever since i signed up..is there any solution for it or are they working to fix it?

one work around i've found, try sitting on something before you get to far up to do anything. it usualy resets the avi's fly mode. now try to stand up, if you fly up again, try it again. once or twice usualy is enough.
other fix is to have someone tp you.
i've noticed that when you are hurtling up skywards, sometimes the fly button is not highlighted, hit the fly button, some times you regain control.

Hit the "home" key, typically resolved this issue with a resounding SPLAT!

Hmm...I've never had this problem, and I've never spoken to anyone that has this problem...have you talked to a Linden about it?
