i recently got my new graphics card yesterday, upgrading from a 8800gtx to a 9800gx2. i noticed a very big improvement in all my other games that are very graphic intense. on second life my fps is lower than what i got on my 8800gtx... is there a setting i have wrong? is it the new nvidia driver?
im running windows xp x64 with 4 gigs of ram, intel quad core 2.4 overclocking to 3.1 gightz two 150gb raptor drives in raid 0 an a 1600 watt power supply. could the issue also be 64 bit? my current settings in the control panel is 16x aa an then i have my card set for single gpu. if im missing any information im sorry im not currently at work where my main computer is.
thank you all for the help if anyone can help me =)

(2) 8800 GTs in SLI Mode vs. 9800 GX2 in Dual GPU Mode

I just replaced (2) 8800 GT's in SLI mode with a 9800 GX2 on a Dell XPS 630i, and I must say, I'm pretty disappointed (I originally thought I was getting only one 8800 with my refurbished configuration). 3DMark06 (XP 32-bit)results were a little less with the 9800 than the two 8800's. In Vista 64-bit, the 9800 was about 8% faster with 3DMark Vantage -- not enough to keep it.
Playing around here in SL, although there are no official benchmarks, seems slower with the 9800 than the 8800's. I think I'm sending it back.
