Hi, anyone seen this?
I have an elevator made of a single hollow cube (rather than 4 flat prims). The elevator toggles physics on and off to move. When physics is off, and I walk my avatar inside it, the avatar's walk animation never stops playing, though he is not walking. It causes him to drift around slightly as the elevator moves, and sometimes he falls through a crack between the cab and the wall.
I guess I'll make a bench in there so avatars can sit for the ride and not drift around and fall out, but its an annoying thing. You can check it out in my building (see sig)

The walking animation is a rather stupid bug that occurs when the avitar is standing in a moving vehicle (eg. an elevator). Before animation blending, you could prevent this behavior by stoping the walking animation with llStopAnimation("ANIM_WALK" ; or something of the like. I havent tryed it very recently, but right when blending was implimented, the 'fix' for the walking on a moving object wasnt working. -Chris

So when someone enters the elevator, the elevator will have to ask for permission to make the person stop walking? Thats crappy. I'll stick with having the people sit instead.

Even if it gets permission, theyll still keep walking ::nods:: sitting was the way I went for my elevator too.
