only since the latest update 1.01 i think it is, i've been getting frequent freezes of the client. if i hit ctrl-alt-del and go to task manager it will be back to normal.
i also noticed that my cpu usage is at 100%. not sure if it was like this before cuz i never checked. i'm not running anything extraneous in the background.
i've never had this problem before. not like this at least. the last time it was my video card, and when that happened i had no choice but to reboot.
anyone else getting something like this?

Yes, I've been having similar problems, since v1.00. The game will suddenly freeze - I haven't tried the c-a-d but I will next time. Usually it takes a minute then things are back to normal, although Tues night I had to kill the client as it locked solid for a good 5 mins. My cpu usage is also 100% constantly *poor cpu!*
A few techie details just in case -
Win2K
1GB ram
AMD 1800+ CPU
nVidia GeForce4 Ti4800 (just upgraded from GeForce2, didn't have these problems then)
whatever the latest nVidia drivers are (d/l from nVidia website on Sunday) can't check the version, I'm at work!
DirectX v9a (I think, again d/l'd the latest on Sunday)

CPU at 100% is normal for 3D games. The computer is rendering as many frames per second as possible, so it's using all of its resources all the time.
I don't have the lock-up problem. It's strange that it would be mitigated by bringing up the task manager..

i've got this problem too. game freezes up and then comes back after 10-30 seconds usually. activity on my hub while frozen. occasional blue screen mem dump.
system specs:
p4 2.4
512mb 2700
nvidia gforce4 ti4600 128mb ram
win2k pro
latest drivers on geforce and dx9
hope someone can help as this game looks VERY cool but i can't really play when it freezes like it does on me.

Hi I have been having lock up issus since before the launch on one of my pc's. It is an Intel P3 640 ram gforce mx420.
I have up graded to xp, and gotten the 41.9 old drives back for the other issues. At this particuarl time, I can load up, Download inventory, get whos on line, Im messages, Stand there for at the most 30secs and then lock up. In another similar thread. Some one thought maybe the grapics card is the reason for the freeze up. That it was getting hot do to the work load. That's my next try. If not I am buying a new graphics card. I have the gf 3 on my other and is works great.
