Someone I know has lost his entire friendslist after installing the latest SL-viewer. After being re-added, his friendslist still appears empty.
Anyone, any idea what caused this? Or better yet, how to solve it?

Maybe if the friend with the problem would post a thread with details someone here might have a clue. The only generic suggestion I have is to clear the cache, relog.

Hi Valky, welcome to the forums!
I looked in the JIRA (bug tracking), and I don't see this reported. Nor have I noticed any other threads mentioning this issue. So, the problem is probably on your friend's machine.
Like Peggy said, have your friend clear cache and relog.
Actually, deleting it altogether might work better.
In XP the folder is (delete the whole thing): C:\ Documents and Settings \ < your userid > \ Application Data\ SecondLife
In Vista the folder is: C:\ Users\ < user name > \ AppData \ Roaming\ SecondLife
In a Mac OS: (your Home folder) / Library / Application Support / SecondLife - > Cache
Good luck!
