When I try to log into SL it tells me I don't meet the minimum system requirements, yet I have higher than what it says. I am currently running: Windows Vista 64 bit Intel Core i7 @ 2.80GHz 8gbs RAM NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250 (BFG and is OC)
I can log in for a few minutes before it crashes. It flickers like it is the video card, but this is above the minimum for video and I saw on some posts that people have suggested it and that people have run SL on 64 bit so I have no idea what the problem is.
Please help!

Maybe post your driver - some work better than others.

The card is pretty new and has not been tested as a card that will work with SL by Linden Lab.......that is the reason for the message about your card not being supported. You can ignore that message. On the crashing it's probably what Osprey is trying to tell you. Your driver may not be updated or even if updated it may not be a driver suited for SL. Check the nVidia website for the latest driver, download it if it's one other than the driver you now have in use........give it a try. If the latest is the driver you are using then go the archive on that site and download a couple drivers a few revisions back.....give them a try. You sometimes have to do a little trial and error search to find a good driver for SL (there are other programs that are picky about drivers too.......SL is not the only program like that). http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

I just tried reupdating all the video drivers are updated. If I roll back to a previous version then my other programs don't work. I don't understand why it won't work on this new video card that is above the minimum. Is there another viewer that will work? I'm not sure how to even know.

Typing "I just tried reupdating all the video drivers are updated" does not convey what driver you are using.
Maybe the overclocking is causing a problem. Perhaps you should consider not overclocking it.
Note that the suggestions offered weren't simply to try to update to the latest driver, they were to try different drivers.
Is this a store bought computer or one you put together?

Also when you update your driver you should first remove the currently used driver before installing the new one. Some people recommend the use of a software program that cleans drivers ("Driver Cleaner" is one such program). However, uninstalling the old one using the Windows uninstaller usually does an adequate job.......at least for me it has. I get disputed on that but I have had no problems using that method..........so I say to, at least, uninstall first. And if you want to be more thorough, I guess, a driver cleaner would be something to look at. Remnants of old drivers when you install over them cause serious issues in some instances.
