Problem with (group) copy

While working in the NAV, I copied another users tipi (drag copy) and the original ended up being "mine" while the one I drug away was the original owners.... seems backwards to me.

I tested this again later at Venice and the same thing happened.

It's always been that way(or at least, it's been that way for a long time) with all objects. Seems backwards to me, too.

Yes, this is the way it works, when you use SHIFT to drag-copy, you drag the original and a copy appears in the original location. This can clearly be seen with scripted objects that do something upon creation.

I agree that it's not intuitive.

Yes, this is a bad, bad, BAD thing!

Mis, didn't the tipi you ended up with also have another problem -- specifically that some pieces of it said they were owned by you, and other pieces say they were owned by me?
